Hey. I just applied systemic Insecticide containing Merit by lesco water solubal packets. My question is does this need to be watered in? I have had a number of people say yes, and then a number say no. Has any one used this product and if so how has it worked for you?

Syntheic insecticides are getting very tricky to use. Many states require a license. Merit is a highly toxic insecticide. One of my compitition used it and a child of the hmeowner had an adverse reaction. He didn't have liability insurance and bankrupted.

I don't use insecticides I use an organic product called Insect Guard www.natureslawn.com (http://www.natureslawn.com). It is an insect repellant that lasts 4-6 weeks safely. I pay $33.00 per gallon including shipping. You mix it 4 oz per gallon of water. It's 100% organic and classified as a food source. it is effective for fleas, ticks, fire ants, mosquitoes (virtually all bighting and stinging insects). Another product I use is benificial Nematodes. These are bioogical organisms that kill any insect that has a larval stage. www.arbico-organics.com/nematodes (http://www.arbico-organics.com/nematodes)

I am not using this on a clients property. I am using it in my own yard. Just curious if I should water it in or let the residual seep in over time?
