I never considered myself a 'trekkie' but I gotta tell you this new Star Trek film looks fantastic.

J.J. Abrams (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0009190/) is the director and he has been doing some amazing work. With this film he seems to definitely be revamping and older franchise to reach out to a new generation.

What's your view on it?

Which is your favorite Star Trek movie so far?

I like all the movies and TV series but my favorite movie was 'The long Journey Home' (I think that was the title - The one about the Whales), and for a series - 'Star Trek the Nest Generation'.

I went twice this weekend - I liked it that much. Best Trek movie ever - and I've been a Wrath of Khan guy for a long time... even if you don't like Star Trek, go see it. Edge of your seat, amazing movie entertainment!:D

I went to see it...

What the heck happened? I really couldn't follow the story.

They blew up planets, time travel, Spock had slight emotion, Kurk was a dick & broke down Spock, which caused his loss of "captain"???

Something about future Spock & big monsters, some random facility. Kurk's dad was Kurk?

Didn't "Dad Kurk" say to name the child something before he died, but then we find out they actually didn't use that name? I dunno.

Red Chicken Batter = destroys the world when dropped, but the heroes saved the day by cutting the mechanism loose = it drops = nothing happened?

No 3 breasted aliens = sadness

I never watched Star Trek, so I've only seen this movie. The movie proved that I probably have A.D.D, but I got FREE POPCORN & A SMALL COKE!
