Do you guys charge extra for out of town customers if so how much?
I have A customer that is posting publicly on A forum becouse I wanted to charge an extra $10 becouse she is out of town, I explained it is for the inconveniancve of haveing to wait so long to get paid, and the extra time it is going to take for good before and after photos emailed to her., but she is trying to soil my name on A forum that I have been advertising on for years.
Wait let me see if I can show you the conversation.
This is what she posted minuts after I spoke with her on the phone.

My response
> WOW, shes complaining?
> I would have to wait 5-10 days for the check to come in the mail, and another
5-10 days for my bank to clear it and shes complaining about $10.Honestly
anybody that is going to cut that yard wont touch it for less $45.For my out of
town customer I take before and after photos and I email them to you to show
proof the work was done. So I was giving you A good price either way.But hey, no
hard feelings, If you cant find anyone to do it I'll do it for the $35, If that
is what you would be willing to pay.

want everyone thinking I'm A getover or somthing.

> Oh I am so sorry. the lady I spoke to said it would be $35 if I was in town
or $45 if I was out of town. Tha is wha I wasbasng the 29% up-charge for outof
towners. If you are saying it would be $35 for out of town and therefore $25
for in town, that is a great deal at $25 fr locals. Thanks so much for clearing
tha up for everyong..
My latest response and wait for her response.
I think your still confused. I would do it for you for $35, b/c you made it
seem like $45 was to much.the $10 upcharge is simply for before and after photos
and the incoveniance of having to wait almost 20 days before I can get paid.
Although I do some yards for only $25, There are usurally small, unless you
catch my ads for $25 Fridays.(on craigslist)
I am sorry for the confussion and hope we can do buisiness in the future.
Just thought I'd entertain you guys A little.
