i havent even fertilized it this year due to brown patch issues:

Oh nice lawn! What causes the brown patches?

Brown Patch(looks like orange circles) in st.augustine is caused by nitrogen, cooler temperature and too much water. i had a problem with it last fall because after i fertilized i was watering it in and started watching Batman.

i forgot about the sprinkler so it ran for 2 hours, lol.
