That's pretty cool.
I saw the video of that drunk falling off the mower & getting arrested on tv. Funny stuff. Who wrote & sang all the parody lyrics for you?
Sounds good. Ever heard the wierd al version?
It's pretty funny too.

Nice! How are you using this to promote your business?

Ahahaha!

That is awesome. I wanted to do something similar to the old school song;
Dead or Alive - Right Round, I'm sure one of us can come up with the lyrics for this!

Interesting selection. Please don't take offense at what I am about to say.

I personally can appreciate this but I am afraid your desired customer may not. Let me ask you this: how is this going to help promote your business? Do you think this is going to "connect" with your Target customer pool?

A local radio station that really caters to small businesses has of late been reading the 12 reasons for advertising failures. #12 says this:

12. Confusing reactions with results. The goal of advertising is to create a clear awareness of your company and its unique selling proposition. Unfortunately most advertisers evaluate their ads by the comments they hear from people around them. When we mistake mere response for results, we create attention-getting ads that say absolutely nothing.

I personally would be afraid that this song falls in this category. I also fear that if you are trying to reach the "middle class" or "upper middle class" that this is going to sound too cheap and sounds more like an "ex-con" looking for work. These people are many times the kind of people who will, for status sake, if for no other reason, not hire somebody who they believe has the "ex-con" attitude. Remember, to these people status is everything. And to them it does not matter that you are not an ex-con, that they are stereotyping you as something that you are not, or that the stereotyping they have just done is irrelevant. Chances are that their friends are going to stereotype the same way and they are going to lose status. blah, blah, blah. I think you get the point already.

Just think about it and see if it is what you really want to do. Read all 12 Causes of Advertising Failure (http://www.gopherforum.com/showthread.php?p=48855#post48855).

Good luck,
Eli
