Experts say that landscape companies that make it past the five year hurdle on average last 15 years before closing up shop. Using the poll...how long have you been in business. What do you attribute to making it past the five year hurdle or how do you plan on making there?

Did you read anything about why it's 15 years?

Or do you have any thoughts on that? That is an interesting number.

Interesting article.

I think the topic is very tough. It's easy to say contractor's don't realize what they are worth and they should raise their prices but if the problem is endemic within the industry then you are competing with others who don't know their value which has the net result of lowering the average cost of the service.
