To be honest I'm not sure. Amazon has a bunch of them, I was just wondering if it had to be a specific one. Can I use one that scans the entire code at one time, or does it have to go from left to right?

Would one of these work?

So just how many of use the barcode scanner?

Do you feel the scanner a time saver or is there room for improvement on the Gopher software side.

Personally I'd like to see the route sheet barcode actually use the customer name instead of the database id record. The scanner is a valuable tool for tracking movement and location times with the right scanner. I use my scanner for tracking equipment location and hrs of use as well as customer time stamps.

Have a great season!

I got a scanner from amazon last night and had in overnighted. Its the first one on the list, from the link below. It works great. I used it on a test sample of what my schedule will be, and it is awesome. I loaded in 25 mowings and had them invoiced in less than a minute. This is going to be a huge time and aggravation saver. I HIGHLY recommend.

Just wondering which model bar code reader you purchased. How much was it?

How does that work exactly... do you have to use a laptop out in the field or can you just scan the jobs completed when you get back from the day...

Thanks!

I got the WASP pen scanner and you just plug it in the USB port and off you go, no installation to do.

I got mine off Ebay

Let me know if you have any questions

The one i got is just like one you would see at 7-11. No software to set up, you just plug it into your laptop and go. Actually you do have to scan 10 barcodes in the owners manual that comes with it. I'll post the link.
