a usefull tip i use hope it helps

as many of us know mowing wet grass sometimes is unavoidable esp in these upcoming month/s so i have a littl tip/secret i use to keep grass from clogging and sticking to under side of mower deck. this process is fairly cheap and simple(approx 10-20 dollars)

1. raise mower
2.pressure wash and clean underside of deck
3.take a scoth brite or piece of sand paper and scrub to get any loose paint/grass removed
4.let dry and applt a light lair of primer( i used rustoleum auto primer 3.00 a can
5.purchase a can of "duplicolor truck bed liner"(aerosol can works best)7.00 -9.00 a can
6.sparay on good medium to heavy coat laet tack (15-20 min)
7.spray a light coat to give a little texture
8.after paint has completely dried spray a nice layer of fluid film or liqued wrench dry lubricant over paint

thos liner normally last the whole season and then some the fluid film/liqued wrench can be reapplied as needed(normally once in morning and then again mid day depending on wetness and thickness of grass)

i also have attached screw in hose fitting to my decks so at the end of day i can attach water hose and run blades and it will pretty much clean itself(these attachments can be gotten from john deere they come stock on some of there mowers)

There is actually a new product out that takes several steps out of he process. I just became a dealer for a product called "Mo-Deck". You clean the deck like you described but then spray the Polymer "Mo-Deck" on. It is supposed to last a while and after cleaning the deck you can apply additional coats to increase the effectiveness. Within the next 2 weeks I hope to be able to tell you how much they cost (I think they should be cheaper than the product you described) and how much I will need for shipping it out. I will stay in touch in case anyone is interested. Since the product is new to me I have not yet had a chance to test drive it myself.

ive used that before my local landscaper supply store carrys it , ididnt like it that much due to fact that it didnt last that long were the bed liner is somewhat of a permenat thing

I didn't catch what you meant at first. We had talked in the past about getting the bottom of the mower sprayed with a rhino bed liner spray.

Is this stuff similar?

some what it isnt as rough or textured and kind of gives it a similiar feel to teflon coating

Ok so I am guessing it's best to stay away from the rough coat because the grass will more easily stick to it.

so how many coates did you put on? just the one? or additional coats?

I also noticed that you mentioned about spraying it with liquid wrench or something similar. How often do you have to do this? weekly? Daily? or more often?

How often do you apply the bedliner coating?

i used 2 coats of mow deck

i used 1 coat of bed liner held approx 12-14 inchs away after 1st initial coat of fluid film or dry lubricant you should only have to redo every couple of weeks(i do it every week after i clean my equipment but it should last longer)
