I just made myself a logo. Let me know what you guys think of it. Does the color/text clash? should the text be bigger? or a different color?

let me know. Thx

not too sure....can you post a larger image of your logo?

Not too sure about the blue on red...

Hi Eli,

Nice job! That is a saw blade at the top right?

The only suggestion I would say is try where the letters are on a red background to have maybe a white text? I'd like to see how that looks. I bet it would really help the text stand out.

Yea, it is a chain saw bar. With the bar having a curve to it I found that it is difficult to get the text centered and straight, expecially on the slanted bar ones.

Ok, here I have all 4 versions for viewer observation. I personally do not like the one with the bar slanted as well but let me know what you think. What about centering the bar as far as height and then say putting my slogan above the bar and the rest of it kinda like it is now?

Actually, I like this one better yet... But I got to wondering, should ALL the text be centered under "superior power equipment"? or centered on the logo?

I like that one best too!

The way you have it I think is best. Having your unique sales proposition at the top is great because it tells the customer why they should choose you over a competitor!

I can't wait to see the business cards and marketing material you come up with next.

yes that one is much better and easier to read...it would look awesome if 'Superior Power Equipment' was cut out of the blade.

I tried to duplicate the effect that Ritchie had put on this. I also changed the layout of the telephone # and added my hopefully "soon to be" website address. Tell me, does that make it look too busy? is there a better place to put the website address? or the #?

Yes I like this one too, only I think it would be better with only the name cut out of the bar, then the phone number below the bar. Good job.

As I was looking at it, I was thinking it would look cool if the bar had a chain on it, but you may have to take a little different route if you did that, like maybe use an image of an old McCulloch or something.
Kinda like this but at a better angle.

perhaps make the entire logo taller to provide room for it all?
