View Full Version : Need help with new site
02-17-2009, 05:00 PM
I'm trying to set up a site on 1&1.com and having a little trouble, I downloaded a template from the forum here, then transferred it via filezilla to 1&1, but that as far as I can get.
I'm not sure if it would be easier to use html or I can somehow get it to work just by uploading them one at a time.
any help would be appreciated.

Have you been able to upload any of the files to your new site? Can you tell me the url so I can see what you are doing so far?

I was told that I can't upload a template, I thought that these were graphics to upload to put on the template?
The URL is downtoearthlpm.com (http://www.downtoearthlpm.com), it hasn't been activated yet.

I have a bunch of free website templates I made you can download and unzip. Then upload the files to your website.
You can edit the html files in a txt notepad editor.
Can you try and just simply upload the unzipped template to your domain? Then we can start working on editing the html.

Which site is it on? I just went to this one and nothing was there but a graphic place holder.
