MSNBC (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12306509/site/newsweek/) - The average American family carried about $9,300 in credit-card debt in 2005 reports the nonprofit Consumer Credit Counseling Service in Dallas.

Do you think that is high or low compared to stories you have heard from friends and family?

I am proud to say we carry NO C.C. debt! http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
When i sold off most of the lawn/lanscape equipment the first thing i did was pay off all C.C. debts we had, and then re invested the rest in other equipment.

We got rid of most of our accounts (C.C.) and we dont use the ones we still have, which we only keep for emerg.

(but we still have plenty of "other" bills!)
