I have manage to get myself 500 sheets perforated 3 inches from the bottom for my invoices. It only cost me 43$ to get those done here at Kwik Kopy here in town. It was the only place that I found that they could do it
I will also be purchasing a bar code scanner (found one on ebay)

I hope I inspire people to get their paper perforated and get the bar code scanner for their gopher software

Here's a preview of what the barcode looks on an invoice

Then the customer would detatch the bottom part and send it to me so I can scan it in the computer and I don't have to type anything

I use it and find it to be a great time saver.
well worth the money!
You can use your barcode scanner for much more than just Gopher.
Put barcodes on estimates, coupons, equipment etc..
track maintenence records.
There's a competitor to gopher that uses a Mini batch scanner that is battery operated out in the field and allows you to scan in and out at a customers property for time tracking. Back at the computer, you plug in and download the data for analysis.

I finally received my barcode scanner and I love it. I've tried it out on a dummy account and wow.. what a time saver. I've tried scanning the scheduling jobs and payments. And wow, i'm impressed with Gopher.
