MSNBC (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12070042/) - Hooters Air, which featured women in orange short-shorts and tight T-shirts on flights, will be grounded beginning next month except for private charters out of Winston-Salem, N.C.
The airline industry runs on thin margins. Fuel prices can easily make the difference between profits and losses. I don't know how you would compete with a company like Southwest Airlines who lock in their fuel prices years in advance and run a tight ship.
Have you ever flown on Hooters Air?
Would you pay a premium to fly on their airlines?
What did you think of this business idea?
Will they find more success in the private charter business?
