[Little Blue Lawn Care]

Hi all,
My names Chris, and I just recently started a lawn care biz. I started about 2 months ago with 4 accounts, I'm now up to about 12.

I have not always done lawn care, I did several years ago working for my father in Phoenix, but moved away eventually. I spent 5 years in the Army, 1 of them in Iraq.

Currently I'm working with what I can afford, I have 2 21" inch mowers, trimmer, blower, and all that good stuff. I would love to get a nice walk behind, but I don't think I'm quite ready for that yet (financially anyway). I don't want to put anything on credit.

So far I'm loving this work, again. I get a lot of business from Craigslist and word of mouth.

What kinds of things have you been doing to get the accounts you got so far? What kind of marketing have you been doing?

Have you been promoting that you are a Veteran? That you have served in Iraq? I bet if you put together a press release and told the story of your transformation, it would get you a lot of press and a lot of new customers.

What are some of your thoughts on that?
