I thought this was pretty neat. President Bush visited Bill Wright's mower manufacturing facility just recently.
One of the interesting points Bill makes about commercial vs. residential lawn mowers is that "The average residential mower has a life expectancy of 500 hours; a commercial mower lasts about 5,000 hours, Wright said." This is really something to consider when you are trying to use a residential lawn mower for your lawn care business. Keep the life expectancy in mind and realize it will have to be replaced sooner than later.
Lawn mower company has Wright stuff (http://www.fredericknewspost.com/sections/business/display.htm?StoryID=70772) - The Frederick lawn mower manufacturer that President Bush recently visited aims to use the talent of its workforce and efficient operations to cut a swath from its competitors' market share.
Bush visited Wright Manufacturing's Wedgewood Boulevard plant Jan. 18, hours after asking Congress to enact an economic stimulus package.
