Forbes (http://www.forbes.com/home/technology/2006/03/14/google-****-data-cx_ck_0314google.html) - A federal judge indicated on Tuesday that he'll order Google to turn over a pared-back set of responses to data requests from the government.
The Bush administration wants Google to turn over search requests it has collected from users of it's search engine. I am happy to see Google fighting the release of this information. Such information should only be turned over with a warrant to investigate a crime. I do hope Google appeals this ruling. If not, it could hurt their business because users may not want to use a search engine which is monitored by a government.
