Here is advise I have heard from others on getting their business started. Please feel free to add your own.
"You asked me about any advice on Lawn Care... well I was in that business for many years before getting out. The best advice I could give is to put as much money and time into growing the business instead of just enjoying the money you make and spending it. I personally had a problem with that concept back when i did that kind of work and a result my business did not reach the great heights that it could have because I did not expand I just spent the money I made. This is s big mistake... growth can take you to a whole new finacial status if you will put energy into it.
I had commercial accounts as well as residential. Getting work was really not the hard part. I would set a goal to expand and get as many accounts as possible and also try to get some really good people to work for you that you can trust. I would also recommend that you look into finding a good supervisor who can duplicate your work then you can spend your time trying to drum up even more accounts.
I hope some of this is helpful! "
