Last year, against my better judgement, I bought a Weedeater brand "feather lite" string trimmer.
I know...I know, I pulled away from my normal purchases of Lesco and Echo trimmers but I needed this for just a few specific areas of grass that were difficult with my straight shaft trimmers.
Anyway, after less than 30 uses, the starter cord rewind has gone kerplunk. It looks like a plastic part on the starter cord spool broke off.
Any suggestions for an easy fix on this? I hate to spend $25 or $30 to fix a cheap $60 weedeater.
Oh also, this has me thinking. What is the coolest thing you've ever seen done with a weedeater motor. I'd like to experiment.
