new to site

Hello.

My wife and I are just starting in the business. I have worked in the golf course field for about 7 years and currently work as groundskeeper for a school district.

It has always been our dream to own our business and we finally have done it. We are starting out small, but hope to expand in the future.

We really enjoy all of the comments and suggestions on this site.

How are you making all this work while having a fulltime job? Do you have any advise for others trying to do this?

What kinds of marketing or advertising have you been doing so far?

I love my full time job and I just have to realize that it is more important right now. However lawncare is our hobby,so it is awesome to do that at night and on the weekends and get paid for it.

So far we have just made business cards. Through friends and family we have gotten several clients. We may decide to advertise more next season.

How many clients do you feel you would be comfortable with servicing while maintaining a fulltime job? How close are you to reaching that goal?
