What do you guys prefer? And why?

For mowing, I prefer an open trailer by a wide margin. It's quicker and easier at gas stops, on the job (crew members can grab something and go), and when minor repairs to machines are necessary. The advantage to an enclosed trailer is, of course, improved security, but I don't find that very significant.

keeps equipment out of the weather.
much "cleaner" image goin gdown the road. (i see a lot of guys with open trailers with grass falling off them)
You have a large billboard for ad space..which is priceless.
dont have to worry about someone grabing a trimmer when your at a light..bathroom stop..1 man crews can be in the back yard and not have to worry about theft.
+ they hold there resale value much better if you take care of them.
just my view on it...

You should have said something sooner, I sold one a few months ago.

I don't want nothing big though, only 10 to 12' in length.
You probably had a big one didn't you?

Ya, it was a 17ft, 2200 Lbs. empty..lol.
dual axles w/ electric brakes on all 4 tire.
ramp rear door (my 12 yr old could open & close it)
curb side door, lights inside & out, brake a way sys in working condition..
out side spare tire rack w/ spare..
it was 8 years old..and i only lost about $1400.00 when i sold it compared to when i bought it.
yes, it was to big for your needs..if you want a 10 or 12 ft.
