I went to fedex kinko's today and scanned an image for part of my logo and I went home to open it and it has a grey box covering the image and I can't figure out how to remove this box, anybody know what I'm talking about and how to remove this?? *I used photo shop at kinko's to open the image and I saved it to my disk as a JPEG image, so I'm not sure what's going on, HELP PLEASE!!! I don't really want to drive back down there.

Can you post the image?

Let me try, I will try and attach the image.

Notice the grey box covering the image, I can't seem to get it removed, when I click on the file in my pictures, it shows a completely fine thumbnail preview of the image, I've tried opening it with paint, windows picture viewer, and macromedia fireworks, and they all show the grey box. I'm stuck. Please Help.

Are there any other images you have of this even possibly a thumbnail image that is another file? I can't do anything with that attached image.

No, all I have is this file, the thumbnail shows up just fine in my pictures but when it opens the full size regular image, it appears like what you saw. I could email you or something the original file that is on my disk?

Sure we could try that email me here. (email@example.com)

It appears that there was an error during the scan. You may need to scan it again.

Yeah, I just took it back there and got it fixed. Thanks for the help.

Can we see the finished product?

I'd be more than happy to when I get it finished, the scanned logo is just a starting point for me.

Who on here can take a scanned image and work it into a logo for me, I've tried contacting that Plan-it graphics guy 3 days ago, but no response, I'm willing to pay for this logo work, just need someone REALLY good.

Hey Andy...send me off an email with the details and I'll have a look at it.

Ok, email sent. I think it saved to my computer in a .png format when I opened it to edit with my Fireworks program, I still do have the JPEG original or a PDF if you need it.
