Ive been racking my brains to come up with a new logo. Unfortunatly my skills are limited here. Could some of you PLEASE help me out with this. I would really appriciate it.
My company name is Clean Cut Lawn Service. I would like to incorporate the words lawn maintenance and snowplowing into it.
Thanks a million, by the way....great site!!

Has no one gotten back to you yet?

John, Thank you for taking the time for the logo. I like the simplicity of it, however Im not to fond of the way Clean Cut is designed. I do like the grass and how the rest of the words are layed out. Any other ideas? The logo will be going against a red truck and my shirts will carry the design also. They are grey.
Thanks again for your time.

John, take a look at these, I changed some colors due to this going on a red truck I don't think the orange will work too well, it's too close in color to the red. I put the new ones against a red back ground so you get an idea of what it will look like on your truck. There are 2 different versions attached same color scheme just different style text for Clean Cut.

My hard drive crashed and I lost everything, every single one of my templates on my site, my logos, even the stuff Ive done for my own lawn care company. Its a nightmare, so this is what i could come up with. Its similar to others Ive done, but it was what I could do in the shortest time. If you would like to see more examples check out the site. http://www.plan-itgraphics.com/

OMG I am so sorry to hear that!

The only thing I had backed up was my program for my lawn care company. I backed that up on 12-12. So I still need to redo the year end close out, price increase, re-enter all payments and production, etc etc. But lost every single photoshop file I have ever done. Pictures of vacations, I have a show car that I took to florida to get a picture of it with a palm tree, pictures are GONE!
The worst is all the files for my Lawn Care Co. I make no secret that Plan-It graphics is a side biz. So loosing those files is a pain, but the oter stuff, spread sheets, mailing lists, estimate sheets templates, invoice notes, marketing postcards, advertisements, EVERYTHING!!
Let this be a lesson... BACK UP YOUR FILES!!! I lost 5 YEARS of stuff, don't let it happen to you!!

This is the exact reason we have RAID servers.
All the workstaion PC's are backed up to one of the servers each night, the information is very safe due to the fact there is 2 copys of the same information on dif. hard drives (raid).
This more or less is just customers art files, people would be pretty mad if they called and we couldnt reproduce the same signs over and over year after year.
If a hard drive fails (dies) you just replace it and the files are automaticly rebuilt on the new drive so you have 2 copys again. Besides the fact the files are also still on the workstation they were created on.
The other server runs all the printers/CAD cutters, this one has all the templates, car/truck drawn to scale outlines, fonts, large high quality fills, etc. Its RAID also, but isnt needed since all that stuff is also on cd/dvds from the manufactures...
Ok, i'm kinda off topic a little I think...Sorry.

I am a little off topic too here http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/offtopic.gif
but maybe it will be a good lesson for all of us. Do you use raid and back up your data? If so what do you back up your data to?
