Thought that I would share this little tidbit in the employee forum area.
My wife works for the largest employer in this area (health care provider), and recently we received our new health insurance cards in the mail.
So I go tonight drop off a prescription, with the new card, and said that I would be back later.
I come back later, but find out that the employer messed up with the health insurance. They didn't start the coverage until 3/1/07, and it was supposed to be 1/1/07. What makes things worse, they messed up with the entire system of the health care coverage for that entire group. Not only is this group the largest in the city, but they have approx 20,000+ employees in about 14 different cities.
Talk about a major screw up. Somebody will be losing their job over this.
Can you just imagine going in for surgery or something to find out that you are not covered.
