That is awesome!

Tell us about the experience of taking part as a sponsor of the fight.

What did you think of it all? Would you do it again?

Steve...
It was awesome... I didnt and still really dont know much about MMA fighting and why someone would want to roll around with another sweaty guy in a cage?!? But thats besides the point. It was so cool man... we had tons of people all cheering his name. Everyone was following me around like I was the peid piper... During his fight, I looked around and thought... wholly crap... this is for real... there is also a quick interview with him on thegarv.com (1st post of this thread) under andrew riddles. Just a cool thing... and yes, Id definately do it again... in fact, next fight will be for the belt... maybe we can have some gopher forum members come down to ac.

When MMA started breaking out, it was really rough to watch at first. Before they had it sanctioned and instituted the rules they did, it was just rough to watch.

Now it seems that many of these fights have cleaned up there act and its drawing huge crowds.

I wasn't into it at all when it first got my attention but now I do like to watch bouts on tv. I like it a lot better than boxing.

Have you thought of more ways to really leverage these fights to promote your brand? Did the fighter have a Friction logo on his shorts? Or will he in the future?

Could you do things like make him a website to promote him and you?

Could you get some video of the fight and then have him talk to the camera, plugging your product line?

Yeah steve... he wore the friction shirt and the we had his shorts embroidered with friction on them... Working on the website now... its hard to nail down a coder thats not charging me an arm and a leg... Andrew did a video interview... its posted at thegarv.com... under Andrew Riddles interview... Id love to post it here but dont know how... It was his first interview and I think it shows, he forgot to plug us, but he is wearing our shirt.
