Just a little something to make you laugh...
We have a receipt box... gas, mulch, whatever... when I get home, I put my daily receipts in the box.

Just a little list of the things I found in my box this year...
1. a rubber fish...
2. $27.00
3. Two checks from customers from last year.
4. One pack of chewing gum.
5. 7 Packs of matches (we dont smoke)
6. About three cups of mulch.
7. 17 pens
and finally a sprinkler key (hunter)... we dont do irrigation!!

Anybody else find anything interesting in their receipt boxes?

Haha...employees playing practical jokes on you?

The only receipt-related story I have is when I lent my gas can to one of our landscaping crews for the gas saw, I got stuck without it for a few days and had to make trips to the gas station every two or three lawns to fill the mower tank with gas...for about $1.50 each time. Our accountant was greatly confused when I produced a pile of receipts from the gas station for such a small amount of money.
