What's your view on the new Hummer?
I think it might have what it takes to make it more popular than the jeep.

Baby Hummer almost ready to crawl (http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2008/autos/0801/gallery.detroit_hummer_hx_concept//index.html) - General Motors executives have long said that their Hummer line needs a new model. Soon, it will be adding a pick-up. Beyond that, the only direction left to go is smaller. And that means going head to head with the Jeep Wrangler.

The new Hummer looks amazing. I really like the design and all the features.
BUT, I'm kinda worried about it, too. How many MPG does it get? Now days, this is very important. Alot of people don't care whats happening to the oil/gas economy simply because they can "afford" it. Buts whats happening to all the people who aren't quite as wealthy? All I am saying is: The world is going through outrageous gas prices and countless pollution. But yet automobile companies still seem to make vehicles, like the Hummer, that get what 7? 8? miles to the gallon? We really need to take action of whats going to happen to the Earth in the future. The ozone is getting destroyed every single day.
Has anyone seen that new car that India made? It's a hybrid smartcar that sells brand new for like $2500! 50 MPG
No power steering, no air conditioning, no power locks & windows
I really would like to see how this turns out
does anyone else have any thoughts towards this?

Oh yea I am with you on that. I like the idea of using more hybrid cars and I look forwards to the day when we will have hydrogen powered cars.
I just that new Hummer was a really visually appealing looking truck.
I am not sure I like the back seat so much with the slanted rear window though.

Really? I actually kinda like that. Just seems like it may be kinda cramped and limited space. http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

It seems like you wouldnt be able to use the seats if the rear window was in. I think that's why they are folded down? Maybe I am wrong though.
