Hey,

I got my new business cards today and I found a small error/ misprint in them!

See if you can find it! I'm deciding if I should have them reprinted.

Tell me what you think

Oh sorry about that. I see two spelling errors on the back. I would reprint them otherwise you won't come across in the best light. It would work against you.

I made them through Vista Print on the internet and I already have a new order placed with everything corrected. They aare reprinting them for free and also gave me a $10 store credit. http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

And yes I wouldn'y hand them out either. Luckily i caught it before i handed them out, right?

But actaully it's probably a little of my fault cause I proof read them and I didn't even catch the errors.

I am glad they are replacing them http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Ya live and you learn...Every day is a new lesson.

It is good that you caught the errors before you started handing them out http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

You never stop....

Trust me on this one...

Just the other night the guys were in an accident on one of our busiest interstates during rush hour traffic *some guy just decided to come right over on them*

Luckily my husband managed to keep the truck under control and did not hit anyone else or the interstate wall BUT...

My husbands brand new ATV that he got early for Christmas flew out the back of the truck and smashed about a quarter mile down into the interstate *lucky again it didn't hit another car*

What did he learn...what can we all learn from this???

NEVER put anything in the back of your truck without STRAPPING it down!!

That and since the guy who hit him decided to keep on driving always remember...when in an accident I don't care how much in shock you are DO YOUR VERY BEST to write a license plate number down http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Nope...ya never stop learning http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

You can use the bad cards to drop in drawnings they have for business owners. The ones where you just drop your business card in.

Thats what I do with my old ones or misprints. I won a free dinner at Dennys 2 times in the card drawing. They do it where I get my hair cut to.

Just an idea so they don't go completely to waste.

Also you can go to walmart and get a stack of 100 peel and stick business card magnets for about $17. You just peel off the paper and stick your card on there. If the misprint is on the back you can stick them on there and send them out with your invoices or keep them handy to give out to people. Thats what I do.

With the magnet idea, you could also take those big flat ones that have calendars and such printed on them and glue them to the back of the cards. Then just cut the magnets around the cards, and voila!

Yeah, it would be a waste to not use the bad cards anymore. I think i'm going to make magnets like you guys said and then just keep the others ones around. Yeah i could use them to drop in drawings, too!

Thanks for he ideads!

Luke,

If you go to Staples or Office Max or something like that, they have magnets with a sticky side you can attach business cards too and its really cheap.

I think people tend to hang onto business card magnets longer than just business cards.

Let us know if you get any.

Yeah I'm going to go get some magnetic backs for the cards this weekend. Like you said, the customers will probably hang on to magnets longer then just a regular business card.

It's good for them to have them cause then they can just stick it on the refridgerator and then always have my contact info handy.

Thanks fir the ideas guys!

Luke
