I'm sure there are some experienced campers that check these boards.
Could you give me some advice on tents? I'm looking for a three season 1-2 man tent (just big enough for me and my gf). I'll be carrying it in my pack while mtn. biking or hiking so it needs to be small and light. I also like the idea of being able to leave the rain fly off during clear nights so I can star gaze. That means it needs see-thru mesh over the viewing area. A vestibule would be nice too.
I haven't bought a tent in over 10 years and I had no idea technology (and price) has increased so much.
Please share your experience and tell me what to look for.
