View Full Version : Gas Costs

Just wondering how everyone is handling the rising cost of gas and how you may be applying the increase to your customers. Are you adding a fuel charge? If so, how much (flat rate, %, ?) and how are you adding it, as a service, a material, etc.

Very good question, I was thinking of posting this also.
Our gas prices in Omaha are going down slowly, we are at or around $3.09 per gallon. We have not added a fuel surcharge as of yet. We did however send a letter to the customers stating if the gas prices continue at the $3.10 + pricing we will have no option but to add a fuel surcharge to our services. In the letter we stated that we will add the surcharge globaly at 5%.

We peaked at $3.65 right before Memorial Day, and now we have been at $3.45 for the past week or so.
I raised up all customers prices 15%
