Can I Aerate While it is raining????

I am supposed to aerate a dozen houses this weekend but it forcasts rain. I am not sure if I should reschedual them or should I do them in the rain.

Aeration should be done on lawns that have been watered night before... but maybe rain is too much? I don't want to destroy their lawns in the process.

Anybody have aerated during while it is raining? Any problems?

I aerated the day after rain this week. Didn't have too many problems, but I tore up a couple soft spots around trees on one lawn.
