I was reading some posts about getting a domain name and setting up a website. I have to be honest i am pretty good with the internet stuff but am totally clueless when it comes to domain names and setting up a website. i saw some people recommend 1on1 or godaddy for their domain and hosting. like i said i have no idea about this stuff and was reading on the 2 sites but i don't know what kind of package i will need and stuff like that. Any help will be greatly apreciated. thanks

For the domain... you can get from any site. Just shop around and i'm sure you can find some cheap ones. Then you need to find some decent hosting depending on your needs

Basically here are the thing you would be looking for

-Linux/Windows
-MySQL/Databases/PHP
-ASP/Access
-Unlimited e-mails
-Awstats/Webalizer stats
-SSL
-Cpanel (where you can change all your website settings)

If you have any questions, don't be shy
