Door Hanger Prices

So I just designed a door hanger add off a template that I'm really excited to use. *Where should I get it printed? *I went to my local print shop and it was much more expensive than I thought it would *be.

I have a decent amount of business right now, but most of it has come from Craig's List which means all of the business is spread out. *I would like to pick up 10 more mowing accounts this spring that are local.

I was planning on taking time over presidents weekend and going door to door with door hangers and talking to people.

I wanted to only spend like $50 bucks. *I also wanted to print up 500 adds.

My local print shop quoted me at $200 bucks for 500. *4.25" by 11" Full color hangers. *I checked around on the internet and most online print shops are saying about the same or more. *

I was thinking of maybe handing out postcards instead because they're cheaper, but your not suppose to leave things in mail boxes.

Any suggestions?

I am getting all of mine printed from Plan-it Graphics. They have the most competitve pricing that I have found.
