I was reading through the New York Times yesterday when I came upon an ad to purchase a book of home plans for $20.00. Now this wasn't an advertisement from a publisher but from a home builder using the book as a way to get you to learn more about their business and product.

I have to say their homes look amazing.

This one has to be my favorite. Sorry for the small image.

On their website, they have an ad for you to order their home book.

Here is another view of it.

I have to tell you, the book does look fascinating!

Isn't this a fascinating way to reach out to customers?

It made me think, what if you had a book of the most amazing lawns from across the country. Or the most amazing yards. Would that help you reach out to potential customers if you could give them a vision of what their lawn could look like with plenty of hard work to get it to look amazing?
