Sprucing up a post office gets media attention

Here is another marketing idea you could do. Why not spruce up your local post office? These people did and they got media attention for it. Could your post office use a little TLC?

Volunteers spruce up Palmyra post office (http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/lebanon/palmyra/article239704.ece) - A group of civic-minded Palmyra residents spent Sunday beautifying the grounds of their post office.

About a dozen volunteers, representing the Palmyra Area Business Association, the Palmyra Garden Club and Farmer’s Lawn Care, worked for six hours pulling weeds, trimming bushes, laying mulch, painting benches and planting flowers.

It could be a great photo op. Plus you could get the kids involved. That makes for great photos.

Oh yeah.... kids always draw people's eyes in the paper... and they love to see themselves in the paper, too.... would make for a great scrapbook clipping... you know, if the business REALLY grows... then when the kids are old enough, they could take the business over... from the MAIN OFFICE, of course... and they would have pics of themselves from "Way back in 2007/2008" when the business first started... lol
