Have you ever considered hosting a seminar that promoted how to get involved in a township wide tree planting program?

Could you create some landscape designs and present them to your community and try to get other homeowners and business owners involved?

Seminar promotes downtown BR landscaping (http://www.2theadvocate.com/news/business/5754026.html) - Downtown business and property owners will be encouraged this month to take part in a streetscape improvement program.

“Trees Are Good for Business” seminars are set for noon on Wednesday at the 18th-Floor Conference Center in One American Place and Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Chase Bank, 450 Florida St.

Hosted by Chase Bank, Kean Miller and Baton Rouge Green, the meetings will explore ways property owners can take part in downtown tree plantings and landscaping projects.

The seminars are free, and lunch and breakfast will be provided.

More information is available through Baton Rouge Green at (225) 381-0037 or sue@batonrougegreen.com.
