I am working on a Gopher web template to show everyone that these make great starting 'bones' for your business website.

I am working on integrating web payment at the moment. As well as a better gallery.

Very nice!

What's your plan with the online payment?

Did you see I got an ad in the GopherHaul show for the Lawn Blog? http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Very Very Nice Richard. I like the service form placement, the only thing I see, if you don't mind me saying is the top banner needs to be tightned up some, it overhangs a bit. I'm trying to learn php now. I know html very well, but if you could give some pointers on php I would be most appreciative.

Again VERY VERY Nicely Done!
Tim

Hi Richard,

Can you tell me a little about your site. I see that it is in the Wordpress folder. Isn't Wordpress a blog software?

Is your lawn care business site run on a blog software?

How does that work?

It does look very nice.

I can help with php Tim...

Yes Steve that is blog software...but who is to say that it is strictly for blogs. You have to remove a lot of the php to take away the 'blog' format. It is a great way to update content for someone that doesn't know html.

I have always been a fan of content management sites, such as wordpress and phpnuke.

absolutely...that is what I use. You can change colors, fonts, navigation menus, etc...

I didn't know that. Thats good because there is a lot of changing around I would like to do on my site. Now I have to figure out how to do it.
To bad we cant hold some kind of class on here for us illiterate site editor builders. I'd pay for that.lol
Thanks

that would be an idea...what are you looking for in a website? did you have a look at www.murphyslawns.com (http://www.murphyslawns.com)

Yes I like how you changed it around.
My opinion-
I would make the home, services, etc. into buttons so they are a little easier to read.
And thats alot of info for someone to read on your home page.
Just my 2 cents.

I really like how you intergrated your logo and the flower. That looks real nice Rich.

I want to have a referral section and maybe a specials section. I'm not to sure yet. I just figured out how to get it on to my computer to edit it. my next step is to learn how to reupload it.
So I am going slowly but surely.
I just got dreamweaver to so I am not good and using it.

no problem...in fact when and if you do have some questions make a new post in this forum under Dreamweaver help...or whatever the topic.
