Andy wrote me back,

Jody has a degree from cincinnati state in horticalture,and is a master gardener from Purdue. I have been in the industry for 18 years. with my main focus on turf management.
I have owner my own company for 6 years now, and growing.
It is like joining two co. but keeping everything our own.
Just a simple joint venture.
