Changing back up file name

I've never tried it but can you change the backup or the GDB file name to reflect the year? As in 2006.gdb ?

I'm wanting to clean out canceled accounts or ones that were one timers only with out going through the customer disable option.

Would the program be able to open a different file name?

Yes, you can do that. You can either change the backup filename on the backup screen to a different name like C:\GOPHERBACKUP2006.ZIP or C:\GOPHERBACKUP2007.ZIP . Or you can go into My Computer | C:\Program Files\Ditech\Gopher 2006 and copy-and-paste the GOPHER2006.GDB file. Then rename the copy to GOPHER2006_ARCHIVE.GDB or any name you want. Just be sure to leave the original Gopher2006.GDB file intact.
