View Full Version : Cash payment to a helper

I had a helper the other day and I paid him cash. The property service fee was $50 and my client paid me cash after the work was done. I paid my helper $20 from the cash I had just received so I pocketed $30 for the job.

How do I enter this in Gopher? I want to make sure the customer's invoice shows a bill for $50 as well as a credit for $50 but I don't want Gopher to include the $50 in my earnings report. My earnings for this job was only $30.

Oh, the helper is not an employee. He's just someone that can help out every now and then.

If you're using Gopher Plus or Pro you can enter the $20 payment as an expense for the job. But Gopher will still show the $50 as a received payment when you print a payment report.
