database file appears corrupt ()...

My computer locked up and upon rebooting and opening up Gopher whenever I try to view a customer, schedule, estimate, anything I get the following message:

database file appears corrupt ()
bad checksum
checksum error on database page 2514

What has happened? Please help, it appears that everything is gone and I, unfortunately, have not backed up in a very long time.

Try doing this:
1) Go to File | Backup Database
2) Click on the Validation tab
3) Click the button that says "Repair Database"
4) Click the button that says "Validate"
5) Let us know what the results say when you click the "Validate" button

Does the error still occur after doing this?

secondary server attachments cannot validate databases
