Hi Matt,

You need to copy the Gopher backup file to your computer hard drive. Right click on the file in your cd and then left click on copy. Then go to your desktop and right click in an open area and left click on paste.

Or drag and drop the file from the cd window to your computer's desktop. If you can't figure out how to do this, please ask someone who is familiar with this process to teach you.

Then once you get the Gopher backup file onto your desktop follow these steps.

If the file ends in .zip, you need to restore your data.

Go here (http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST&f=2&t=684) and review the post on how to restore your data.

Also review this page (http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=2;t=1394) as well it has more information.

click on Options in Gopher at the bottom left of Gopher.

Then database tab.

Click on the yellow folder to direct Gopher to where you saved your database on your hard drive.

Just save your company file to cd
then use my computer from windows and explore the cd drive, look for your file and right click it, go into propeties and look where it says open file with, search for gopher, close it, then right click again and click send to, choose create a shorcut desktop.
