Trouble with installing Gopher

I have Gopher 2004. I have been using it on a laptop. My laptop recently died however I do have a backup of the data. I downloaded Gopher 2004 onto my desktop but when I try to restore my database I get a "cannot attacht to the services manager" error.

Please help. I am very busy and am falling behind on my billing.

Try downloading and running the Gopher 2003 setup file first. The error could be the result of downloading the gopher2004.exe file without running the installation first. Let us know if that helps.
