Two weird errors after installing the updates

I installed the updates and after that uninstalled the gopher2003 thinking it might cause a problem since 2004 is there too.

Well, now I can't print and I get the following errors:

"Canvas not yet active"

"Access Violation at address 00402A72 in module Gopher2004-1.exe Read of address FFFFFFFF"

Now what did I do this time? !

Try turning off and then restarting your computer. Then redownload Gopher 2004.

I downloaded the file but still getting this error :

This has happened before whenever I try to update the program. I just can't remember how it was solved.
