Uhm... 2 problems with the templates maybe its my computer, but i'm not sure..

1) When I print out the templates, the background on the template is so LIGHT that it's virtually impossible to see the template background.. How do I fix this?

2) When I print out the templates and the invoice together, they are not aligned properly.. the template is a bit below the invoice.. How do i adjust this?

Thanks Gopher!

Hi alpine692003,

We can make the color darker. Let us know which template you are using. Also when you are saying they don't line up, is there a specific part thats not lining up or all of it is shifted below?

all of it is shifted below everything else and is not aligned properly...

All the templates are not dark enough to see, they are all light...

Hi alpine692003,

See if either of these works better.

Template #2 is moved up 2 positions and darkened.

Ya, that didnt help with template #1 download - the one you moved up 2 positions.

I printed it out and it seems that the boxes are now below the templates..

It should be shifted about 2 positions below and to the right about 2 positions as well..:( http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

alignment is off for me but the darkened fix makes it more visible

the bill to box seems to be too big and down and to the right too much and the cust no. box and description ones seem to be down and to the left more then their suppose to

Mike,

We updated the templates. Are they better without the rectangles that have to be lined up?

02-04-2005, 01:56 PM
no they have to be brought down one or two

Hi Mike,

Did you consider changing the perforation setting on your Gopher program? Go to Options - Billing Button - Values Tab - then change Payment Stub Position.

Does that help you fine tune it?

ok, now I need some help the grass template. I have adjusted the stub where I want it at, but for me the background needs to be wider.

Hi tiedeman,

The more specific you can be on this the better.

okay. *Hold on to your hats.

The bill to (green box) needs to be brought over approx 1/4 inch for me to the left. *The invoice box(green box) needs to be brought over about 3/8 of an inch to the right. *The green box that has customer no, invoice no, etc. needs to be brought over about 1/4 inch to the right, and down about 1/8 inch. *The larger background with the green on the sides and grass at the bottom needs to be wider on both sides and brought down. *If it was slid down about 1/4 inch towards the bottom, widened 1/4 inch to the left, and widened about 3/8 inch to the right that would be great. *Then the final thing, the green box at the bottom for the stub with the customer , invoice no, etc. needs to be brought down 7/8 inch and over 1/4 to the right. *Also the thank you for your business could be brought down 7/8 inch towards the bottom. *

Now bear in mind that I already have my paper pre-made to tear, so I can't adjust the bottom pay stub colors anymore without your help. *If you could do this, that would be great. *I know, I am asking a lot. *Thank you very much

Hi tiedeman,

What you might want to try first is to move the bill and company address in Gopher. That might be easier because you can fine tune it. Here is the link (http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=2;t=675). See if that helps.
