Power Failure

How are you doing? I had a power failure yesterday and I think gopher was open when this happen and now today when i try to look at the schedule it says I/O error for file.....error while trying to read from file The operation completed succcessfully. Hi Stretch,

Click on File at top left of your Gopher program,
- Backup Database,
- Validation Tab
- Validate button at the bottom right.
- when it completes the validation click Repair Database

This will scan and try to repair any database damage. Please make sure your are creating backups of your data.

when i try validate it says
database file appears corrupt
bas checksum
checksum error on database page 969
Then when i hit repair database its says
BLOB not found

If so try this.


Click on File at top left of your Gopher program,

- * Disable Result Messages *
- Validate button at the bottom right.
- when it completes the validation click Repair Database

See if this resolves it.

Hi stretch,

Try backing up your data and then restore your data from the backup you made. See if that resolves this.
