Good Year so Far!

Being the business student that I am, I just did some number crunching and came up with my year-to-date revenue and profit growth.

So far this season (6 weeks in) my revenue is up 223% over this time last year and gross profit is up 185%. Things are looking pretty good.

All I've done differently this year is put a little more money into Google Ads to get our results higher and started advertising on craigslist.

How do you find Google ad words compare to other forms of advertisings. Say even craigslist?

Also what should a lawn care business focus on as far as the ad words?

Just try and use a broad range of keywords to anticipate what people will be searching, i.e. lawn cutting, lawn mowing, lawncare, stuff like that.

We get all of our landscaping jobs from Google adwords...and I find it to be about a 50/50 split for maintenance jobs between Google and Craigslist...although Google tends to give us most of the regular jobs.
