Anyone else seen a ridiculous jump in gas prices...I was paying $1.30/L ($5.20/gal) last week and now it's $1.47/L ($5.88/gal)

WOW! http://www.gophergraphics.com/forum/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

I spent $100 to fill up my truck for the first time ever (and I drive a V6 Ranger!)

Vancouver...ya, I noticed diesel made the jump over $1.50 last week. Do you notice much difference in fuel efficiency with the diesel vs. a similar gas engine? A lot of people tell me that it still ends up being cheaper, but I think that might only apply to small cars.

The BC government is starting its new carbon tax in a month as well, which will add 5 cents I think, slowly ramping up to 12 cents over the next few years. They're dropping our income tax though, so its supposed to be revenue neutral.

hey,

I feel your pain. $1.37/lt in Merritt. I got a v6 too. Just serviced the wheel bearings in it. Get better gas milage now.
