I just read this great article about a woman who started a rental business with lawn care equipment her son owned and used in his business before he became disabled.

Later she added party rental supplies like tents and things like that.

What do you think of offering rentals?

Even party rentals, tents etc. I would think most of this stuff would be rented for the weekends.

Would this be a good add on for a lawn care business?

Name it, she rents it Business sprang from barn full of equipment (http://www.mlive.com/business/annarbornews/index.ssf?/base/business-5/1209480041168540.xml&coll=2) - Chris Livengood had a twofold reason for starting Chelsea Party and Project Rentals almost a year ago.

She was too late to rent a tent for her youngest son's graduation party two years ago, so she had to buy one. Then there was the barn full of landscaping equipment on the family's property that was not being used because her older son Brian was left permanently disabled following a work accident.
