The cheapest I could find it today was 3.87 USD per gal. Diesel is well over $4.

I filled up yesterday for $3.33/gallon.
Remember guys (as is mentioned in my lawn care business program) you may be able to claim a refund for both federal and state taxes charged on fuel used for "off-road" purposes such as is used in machinery.
I'm not offering accounting advice here so check with your CPA.
Here is one of the federal forms required: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8849.pdf (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8849.pdf). *You have to fill out schedule 1 also.
If your state offers an excise exemption, there may be separate state forms to file depending on how your state handles it.
For diesel, you may be able to purchase colored fuel for which you simply don't pay the tax at the pump.
Check out my book and program. You might be surprised how one simple tip can save you thousands of dollars over the long haul.
Good luck:
Keith
