Do you find this amount of average credit card debt per family to be low or high?

I actually thought the figure would be higher!

That seems reasonable I think. I know a lot of people make a point of not racking up debt on their cards. I would thing most peoples' debt would be tied up with mortgages and financing on vehicles and other large purchases.
